Maths Teacher

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Maths Teacher with QTS and experience in teaching Maths to join a well-established special school supporting young people with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. This full-time, permanent role offers excellent benefits and a salary range of £31,650 - £40,440 for 35 hours per week.

As a Maths Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective Maths lessons, monitor student progress, and support pupils' academic and personal growth within the subject.

You will be responsible for:

• Monitor, assess, and report on pupil progress, adapting teaching methods to suit individual needs.
• Foster a positive and challenging classroom environment that inspires pupils to achieve.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive approach to teaching and learning.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of subject content and educational trends.
• Contribute to school-wide initiatives and extracurricular activities.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Teacher of Maths, Maths Teacher or in a similar role.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching Maths.

• A thorough understanding of curriculum requirements and educational legislation.

• Familiarity with effective teaching and learning strategies.
• Strong IT skills.
• Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
