A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Legal Secretary to join a litigation department in a well-established legal practice. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Legal Secretary, you will assist the Head of Department and provide vital administrative support to Fee Earners in case preparation and general legal matters.


You will be responsible for:

  • Typing from digital dictation and copy typing of legal documents.
  • Using a case management system to manage client files.
  • Communicating with clients both in person and by phone.
  • Taking and relaying messages accurately.
  • Performing general office tasks.
  • Ensuring adherence to SRA guidelines and regulations.

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Legal Secretary, Litigation Secretary, Dispute Resolution Secretary, Legal Administrator, Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Ideally have civil litigation experience in a Litigation department.
  • Understanding of Windows 10, MS Word (track changes, document formatting) and Outlook would be preferred.
