A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Secretary to join a reputable residential conveyancing department in a well-established legal practice. This is a full-time, permanent role offering excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Conveyancing Secretary, you will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to the conveyancing team, handling essential tasks to ensure smooth operations.


You will be responsible for:

  • Audio and copy typing, along with preparing contracts, transfer deeds, and mortgage documents.
  • Utilising the Land Registry portal
  • Managing client communications both in person and over the phone
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CML, CQS, SRA, anti-money laundering)

What we are looking for:

  • Previously worked as a Conveyancing Secretary, Legal Secretary or in a similar role.
  • Experience in a fast-paced conveyancing environment.
  • Understanding of MS Word (track changes, document formatting) and Outlook would be preferred.
  • Valid UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
