Car Mechanic

An exciting opportunity has arisenfor a Car Mechanic / Restoration Technician with 3 years of experience to join a well-established vehicle repair centre. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a competitive salary.

As a Car Mechanic / Restoration Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out general vehicle maintenance, servicing, and repairs.

You will be responsible for:

• Stripping down and reassembling vehicles, including cataloguing and refurbishing parts.
• Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults and performing necessary repairs.
• Managing projects independently, including producing parts lists and maintaining detailed job records.
• Applying corrosion protection and underbody coatings to vehicles.

What we are looking for:

• Previously worked as a Car Mechanic, Restoration Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Vehicle Technician, Car Technician or in a similar role.
• At least 3 years’ experience in automotive industry.
• Proven experience in classic car service, repairs, and restoration.
• Background with vehicle interior and exterior trim stripping and fitting.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical fault diagnosis and electrical repairs.
• A full UK driving licence.
